Audi RNS-E/BNS 5.0 navigation bluetooth phone kit
This kit consists of a bluetooth interface, microphone and plug and play wiring loom. So installation is quite straight forward, all the components are plug and play, but some Audis will require coding via the use of VAG COM (the audi computer) to enable the phone function on the navigation, but this is occasional and only known once the kit is installed.
This kit is aftermarket but works just like the OEM audi kit but at a fraction of the cost. Features include, intergration in the infotainment systems, audio response through the speakers of the vehicle with no need for installation of additional speakers, A2DP audio streaming to play music files through the speakers, OEM operation using the headunit/multifunction steering wheel/passenger info system, microphone adjustment via the instrument cluster, phone book browsing via instrument cluster or headunit, answering and ending calls from the headunit and OEM voice quality!
