Due to the high temperatures of modern day road cars it is often useful to wash the wheels after any prolonged use where brake dust may sit or eat into the alloy. A similar procedure should be carried out during winter months where alloys have an increased risk of attracting grit and road salt.
Please also note that stone chips from any given road surface which penetrate the coating or a lacquered surface and subsequently oxidise around the wheel, or any part of the wheel is 'kerbed' or mistreated cannot be accepted for or any part of a factory warranty claim. This would be deemed general wear & tear.
Please be aware of the correct method to clean the wheel, use only this method.
DO use only mild soap and water to clean your wheels
DO wax your wheels on a regular basis using standard car wax
DO clean your wheels with a soft material such as a terry cloth towel
DO NOT use an abrasive cloth or cleaner
DO NOT use "aluminium wheel cleaners". Most are acid based and may destroy the finish of your wheels
DO NOT allow road salt to sit on your wheels. You should wash them as soon as possible.

This warranty is provided by UV Worldwide Ltd (referred to as "we/our/us").
IMPORTANT NOTES
Chrome plated wheels are intended for summer use only, defined by us as April to October. It is strongly suggested that during the winter, defined a November to February, your standard wheels are fitted. Any chrome plated wheels warranty claim made during the winter months are highly unlikely to be upheld.
Chrome plated wheels will only be covered by this warranty under normal and intended use and WILL NOT be covered if altered, misused, kerbed, stone chipped, cleaned with an abrasive or any acidic cleaner, damaged by bad weather including corrosion and porosity from salt, or exhibiting surface rust.
To avoid possible risk of injury or death, wheel and tyre must meet or exceed proper vehicle load rating. Use of any adaptor/spacer/lug where not supplied or recommended by us, will void all warranties.
All wheels MUST only be cleaned with MILD car shampoo ONLY and treated with the same care as the vehicles bodywork, we DO NOT endorse any chemical based cleaners and/or any such use will void all warranties.
Please inform fitters and other personnel before fitting tyres to check: -
1. Wheels are correctly supplied stud fitting for the vehicle and any relevant nuts/studs/bolts or locating spigot rings are correct in relation to both vehicle and wheel.
2. Please check wheel on vehicle to ensure it clears both brake and suspension parts and rotates freely on both front and rear hubs.
3. Carry out visual lock to lock check to ensure full bodywork clearance.
We warrant to the original owner that products manufactured or sold by us are free from defects in materials, workmanship and chrome plate peeling, under normal and intended use, for a period of 1 (ONE) YEAR from the original date of purchase.
We agree to repair, replace or return to manufacturer at our sole discretion, product that are returned to us and which, after examination shows the said product has failed under normal and intended use due to defects in materials and/or workmanship. Such repair or replacement shall not include installation or remove/remount of tyres.
Wheels cannot be returned for credit after having tyres fitted and cannot be returned for credit unless a prior agreement has been made with the sales department, any unauthorised returns will be refused by the goods in department.
Transfer of title of any of our products by the original owner voids all warranties.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights under British laws. No warranty or representation by anyone other than us will be binding by the manufacturer.
